Writing Exercise: Greeting Card
By Word Alive Press

June is a busy month for celebrations — birthdays, weddings, graduations, Father’s Day, anniversaries. Lots. And July doesn’t seem to slow down! So we’re going to challenge your creativity and get you prepped for these last few days of June and what’s ahead.

This writing prompt is quite different from our usual. First, complete these two steps:

1. Pick an occasion (like the ones listed above)

2. Pick a person (like your parents, child, friend, sibling)

Now that you’ve got these two, write a greeting card for this person and occasion. It can be humorous, serious, quirky, etc.

Enjoy — plus now you have a card!
