Pens at the ready—it’s time for the Friday Writing Prompt! For this week’s prompt, we bring you the following photo:



Examine it closely and challenge yourself to write at least 500 words related to this image. Where is this place? Is this a popular spot that has been blanketed by a sudden snowfall, or has this bench been sitting secluded for all of winter, with your character the first one to set eyes upon it? Is your character alone in the frigid woods? Lost? Were they hoping to take a quiet walk in the park when a snowstorm hit? Is your character new to the country, and has never seen snow before?
